Project Strategies

“Bringing Theory to Practice” Conference(s) and Outreach

BTtoP will develop awareness of these issues and strategies at both the national and regional levels.

Demonstration Projects

A small set of campus-based “demonstration” projects will be designed, implemented and sustained for up to three years. The demonstration projects will develop and evaluate new strategies and will contribute to the evidentiary basis needed to establish linkages among engaged learning, student health, and civic engagement.

Leadership Colloquia/Seminars

Colloquia and seminars for small groups of campus leaders will be scheduled for each year of the Project.

Sponsored Research

The Project will develop specific research priorities, protocols, funding procedures, and assessment processes. It will support the investigation of relevant research as well as the means for communicating and disseminating results.
