Student Conference 2006 Working
Conference |
The Bringing Theory to Practice Project invites college and university students to submit workshop proposals from student lead clubs, organizations, projects, and programs involving campus mental health, community service, substance abuse, and political engagement.
This student track is intended to provide fellow students the tools to initiate campus-wide programs and projects on their respective campuses. Each session should be presented with this goal in mind. In order to do so, sessions will be 60-75 minutes in length; 30 minutes of presentation and 30-45 minutes of an interactive activity/discussion in which students will be able to situationally apply your presented information and engage with each other. Up to our discretion, sessions maybe a combination of two or more projects, in which case you will be expected to collaborate with your fellow presenters to organize the workshop.
Each workshop should have handouts for 60 people that outline the presentation and provide the tools you used.
